Dr. David Flamer completed his medical degree at University of British Columbia and his residency and fellowship at University of Toronto. He has an FRCPC designation in both Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. His Anesthesiology practice is based out of Mount Sinai Hospital, and his Pain Medicine practice is based out of both Mount Sinai Hospital and Women's College Hospital. He is the Director of Pain Services at Sinai Health System and Chair of the UHN/SHS/WCH Pain Division. He is currently the Section Chair for the Chronic Pain section of the Canadian Anesthesiologists™ Society. His interests include medical and interventional approaches to cancer pain management, pain management in the obstetric population, and medical and interventional management for chronic pain conditions.
