Bio
Dr. James Khan completed his residency training in Anesthesiology at the University of Toronto and fellowship training in Pain Medicine at Stanford University. He also completed a Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology from the Health Research Methodology Program at McMaster University. He currently serves as the Research Lead on the Pain Council for the Division of Pain Medicine. He also leads a clinical research program that focuses on identifying novel preventative and treatment modalities for chronic pain, with a focus on chronic post-surgical pain and persistent pain after breast cancer surgery. Clinically, he has an interest in the management of peripheral neuropathic pain and musculoskeletal disorders, the use of peripheral neuromodulation therapies, and the management of persistent pain after breast cancer surgery.
