Bio
Dr. Kirkham received his Regional Anesthesia training from the University of Toronto and is currently Medical Co-Director for the Acute Pain Service at the Toronto Western Hospital. His academic work addresses patient preparation before outpatient surgery, including appropriate investigations and eliminating low-value care. He has also published extensively on perioperative pain management with a focus on meta-analysis of complex perioperative pain challenges.
